The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I was setting up my camera waiting for this sleeping
Owl to wake up. All of a sudden a squirrel entered
the frame apparently wanted to play with the Owl.
Sleepy Owl however chose to continue with her
sweet dream !
