Description
This overlook encompasses Morro Rock, and the sandspit that separates the Pacific Ocean from Morro Bay. You can see this view from the drive into Montana de Oro. The sandspit used to run all the way to Morro Rock and the inlet to Morro Bay was on the far North side. You can access the sandspit and walk for miles on unspoiled beach. There are large mounds of shells that are reminders of the pre mission era, when native American Chumash lived here. If you have visited this area or if you like this painting please leave a comment. This original oil painting is on premium gallery wrapped canvas, painted on all sides and needs no frame. If you have any questions feel free to email me. Thank you.
